Cassandra Washington - Founder

Cassandra Washington spent the first 15 years of her career as a social worker with Cuyahoga County Children & Family Services and Senior Training Officer for the Cuyahoga County Department of Senior and Adult Services. A native resident of Cleveland, Ohio, Cassandra received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Mount Union College and her Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

She previously served as the Cleveland Metropolitan Investment School Site Director. In this role Cassandra made sure that any Community Programs or Partnerships are aligned with the goals of the school. Working as a Liaison to the principal Cassandra worked to ensure that program providers are held accountable and provide the services needed to enhance the academic performance of our city’s children.

Cassandra also served took over as Program Director for Aiming Higher an after-school program operated by Coach Sam’s Inner Circle Foundation. Cassandra was responsible for business development and community relations for the program.

Cassandra grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit watching her Father and other relatives operate successful businesses. Eventually she decided it was time to focus on building her business full time. In 2019, Forecast Insurance Group was born. Forecast Insurance Group exists to serve the community. Our agency focuses on those living in underserved communities. We help any and all beneficiaries get access to community resources available to them including referrals for medical providers and housing, applying for Extra Help or Medicaid, as well as providing practical options for life insurance that resolves their concerns.

Her tangible accomplishments include receiving the Social Worker of the Year Award in 2008. Cassandra is a 2010 Graduate of the Cleveland Executive Fellowship Program. She received the 2010 top 25 under 35 Movers and Shakers Award in Northeast Ohio by Inside Business Magazine. In 2014 was awarded the Kaleidoscope top 40 under 40. Cassandra enjoys watching cartoons with her daughter and spending quality time with her family.
